What does FTC Attorney do?

FTC stands for Federal Trade Commission. FTC is an independent commission of America. FTC commission is responsible to secure the rights of consumers. The commission critically observed business practices by observing the practices FTC make sure that not any business practice is violating the right of the customer. FTC also recessives complaints from consumers about products if the business is convicted then the commission will definitely do necessary legal action against that business. The FTC Attorney regulates the laws for healthy promoting healthy competition with the protection of consumers rights.



The FTC works in three bureaus which are divided to focus on specific areas these FTC bureaus.

·         The Bureau of Consumer protections

·         The Bureau of Economics   

 The Bureau of competition hires entry-level FTC Attorney. This is the bureau that is interested in talented law, legislators’, antitrust, businesses, and people with economic backgrounds. The entry-level FTC Attorney at the Bureau of Competition is responsible for the tasks such as 

 Review documents 

Attend executive business meetings

Attend court hearings

 The FTC is the best mid-size independent agency. It ranks is number 2 in the list of top 25 agencies in the American Federal Government. The selection process for FTC Attorney is not easy. You will be going through a highly competitive process for selection. It is a tough competition for selection according to FTC it receives around 700 job applications from law students for Bureau’s Summer Program.        

 

After your selection as an entry-level FTC Attorney you will be allocated to one division in the Bureau will be decided on the basis of your preferences, educational background and according to the requirement of the Bureau.
